INFLUENCES
Klimt was influenced by various artistic movements including Symbolism, Naturalism, Impressionism and Modernism. Each of these contributed to creating his unique style. His fascination with allegorical and dream-like imagery came from Symbolism. Naturalism inspired his attention to detail and drive to represent his subjects faithfully. The way he rendered light, colour and atmosphere was drawn from Impressionism. While Modernism pushed him to innovate and challenge conventions. These influences, combined with his experimental approach, led to a revolutionary visual language that consecrated him as a leading figure in modern art

Every artist dips his brush in his own soul, and paints his own nature into his pictures.
